Project Synopsis
CPM Partners provided claim and scheduling assistance to the Castaic Lake Water Agency for a new turnout structure, consisting of a new concrete valve vault and a new meter vault. The valve vault is equipped with an owner-furnished 36-inch plug valve. The meter vault is equipped with a 36-inch magnetic flow meter. The project also includes all associated piping (cement mortar lined steel and stainless steel) excavation, trenching, shoring, appurtenances, backfill, all associated electrical and SCADA work, and relocation of an existing bike path.

Services Provided
CPM Partners services included assisting CLWA during construction with schedule reviews, critical path method scheduling, time extension requests, change order evaluations, potential disputes and claims, and advising CLWA by providing recommendations and formal responses to Contractor-initiated issues to mitigate impacts to the project and protect CLWA’s interests.
