SANDAG – MTS Rapid TSP & Shelter

Project Synopsis
CPM Partners provided support on the Job Order Contracts (JOC) with the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG).

The Escondido TSP & Shelter Project is one of many JOC projects that modernized ten intersections along the MTA Bus Rapid Transit route that connects customers from Escondido to Downtown San Diego.

The TSP and Shelter project adds efficiency to the MTA BRT route connecting Escondido to Downtown San Diego. Some of the specific project features include installation of a new shelter, replacement of optical sensors, phase selectors and communication cables. The project also includes updating controller board software as well as testing and commissioning of the updated system to ensure reliable service.

Services Provided
CPM Partners, as a subconsultant, provided Resident Engineering and Office Engineering services for Job Order Contracts (JOC) with the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG).
