Sevda Koraltan
CPM's founder, Sevda Koraltan, has over 18 years experience in the U.S. and abroad in various facets of construction project management. She has served as an academician for both graduate and undergraduate programs in construction management and has published several academic papers on the subject. She has also served as a program developer and as deputy director for an applied research center for project management. Sevda holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Sevda's strengths are in project management areas, particularly in project planning, scheduling and controls. She's experienced in project planning and start-up, including preparing preliminary budgets, schedule and cash flows; managing the selection process for architects/engineers and other specialty consultants; procurement of prime contractors; coordinating pre-construction phase activities (e.g. value engineering and constructability reviews). Her attention to detail and strong communication skills give her the ability to accurately verify contract compliance in terms of time, cost and scope throughout construction and to effectively communicate her findings in written reports and oral presentations to owner staff, board members, and other stakeholders.
